<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV class=RTE> <P>One thing to keep in mind is the drum could have a bit of a "lip" on it if it's been a while since it was last removed. If this is the case you can beat that thing till your blue in the face, it ain't comming off. You need to remove the little rubber plug on the back side and back off the self adjuster (its a ratchet mechanism). Let me know if you need help with this.</P> <P>Randy</P> <P>87' Syncro<BR><BR></P></DIV> <DIV></DIV>&gt;From: gary hradek <HRADEK@YAHOO.COM> <DIV></DIV>&gt;Reply-To: gary hradek <HRADEK@YAHOO.COM> <DIV></DIV>&gt;To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <DIV></DIV>&gt;Subject: How do I pull the rear drums? <DIV></DIV>&gt;Date: Sat, 31 Jan 2004 09:07:26 -0800 <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt;Take all the advise given but I would add that if the <DIV></DIV>&gt;drum still does not come off wrap a tire chain around <DIV></DIV>&gt;the drum and secure the chain tighly with a bolt. <DIV></DIV>&gt;leverage the chain and drum off with a bar. <DIV></DIV>&gt;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; regards gary <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt;How do I pull the rear drums?
