I can't comment on South Florida, here is what I know about the rest:

Routes: SR40 & SR19 through the Ocala National Forest A1A between St Augustine and Flagler Beach (coastal road) US 27 between Tallahassee and Ocala US 98 between Pensecola and Tallahassee (coastal road) How much of a hurry are you in? The interstates are great (except in the major cities) in Florida but very boring. Both of the above coast roads offer great scenery and pull-offs, some let you camp but not many. Eats: Bettys Cafe on A1A in Flagler Beach Dixie Crossroads in Titusville Lone Cabbage fish camp on 520 and the St Johns River Pay Campgrounds Ft DeSoto County Park, St. Petersburg Anastasia State Park, St. Augustine Gamble Rodgers State Park, Flagler Beach Jetty Park, Cape Canaveral Free Campgrounds Not a lot, even Wal-Mart doesn't allow overnighting in some places, like Orlando, check with the manager first to avoid a rude wake-up Look forward to seeing you in Florida.

All info appreciated.

Do not go where the path may lead;

go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
