When I had my engine rebuilt, I put in a new Sachs clutch. Not long after it started to chatter. had to pull and inspect it. Found a leaky oil seal that resulted in chatter. Replaced the seal, replaced the disc....no more chatter. And this was/is a Sachs.

I have about 45,000 miles on that clutch now and no problems.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
