What a shame...  I have a 45K mile, new (full compliment, all hoses, pans,
exhaust pipes...)  2.1L engine sitting in my garage, wasting away because I
cannot find a good home for it.  I got it from a guy who pulled it
(perfectly running when he did so) to put in a new IL4 conversion.  I am
trying to get out of the Vanagon hobby (family lost interest and I have no
more time) by selling my 8 passenger, 1985 all original, all stock Vanagon
GL.  Imagine, $102.00 for the 1991 (ebay) Carat Van, pocket change for the
2.1L sitting in my garage here in NJ and you have yourself a 1991 Wolfsburg
Carat with 45 K on the engine...  I just want to see my stuff go to someone
who really wants it and will care for it as I did and as it should be cared
for...  Email me for more details and pictures.
  By the way, if I went to my wife and told her about this Carat and want to
go ahead with it myself, I think she would strangle me...  Lovingly, of
course...
