Adam, a proper brake bleed is the place to begin.

To access the brake fluid reservoir -- which also serves the clutch - simply remove the cover over the insturments. Get yourself a clear, flexible, plastic tubing that can be pushed onto the bleed nipple, and a large plastic coke bottle. Put one end of the tube n the bottle, the other on the bleed nipple, and open the bleed screw. have your helper pump the brakes. ---------------------------- Clip -------------------- Leave no stone unturned .............. a bad or sticking Vacuum Booster Check Valve in your engine compartment can give you an alternating hard to mushy pedal. If you can race the engine and feel any difference in the pedal feel then the check valve is part of the problem.

Stan
