Volks, After getting the list ideas on replacing the thermostat to get my engine to run at normal temp [the needle above the light for my van] I asked my resident BMW mechanic [You didn't know an M3 comes with a resident mechanic?] to change the thermostat. He said I'll bleed it again first because the top and bottom radiator hoses in the engine compartment were different temperatures [of course I hadn't checked, that's too logical]. After bleeding the temp now rides with the needle on the bottom side of the light. Maybe be good for this iteration of grounds; I'll check by checking the gas mileage. Just goes to show something.
