I agree, a proper relay setup is the way to go for most people. Cheaper, simpler, less intrusive, no wiring mods needed in the engine compartment... If you break down on the road, a bad alternator can be replaced with a standard part from any FLAPS without any warranty voiding mods being needed to install the new one...No need to keep a portable soldering iron along so you can modify replacement alternators.. Ok, adding fancy electronic gear is sexier so the isolator wins that one. It also wins on the exaggerated sales drivel and scare tactics. Use our $$$ isolator product instead of a relay or your vehicle might EXPLODE IN FLAMES! With your family or passengers inside no less.
