I have a set of 5000 Turbo wheels that I'd like to put on a '91 Carat. The machinest who opened up the centers discovered that one wheel has been hit. It has a shallow, 2 inch diameter dimple in the rim, and it wobbles considerably more than the other three. Can such a wheel be straightened? If so, what's involved? Do any of you have one or two of these wheels to sell? I'd love to have a spare. I have Carat wheels as trading stock. Has anyone tried polishing Audi wheels? TIA, Jim Huskins Spruce Pine, NC (That's up in the bumpy end of the state.) |
