Try checking that weird hose that connect to the back of the head and goes to the coolant loop. This hose tends to crack where it is clamped to the head, especially if held with screw style hose clamps.

Folks, Frustrating weekend. Saturday morning i go out to the van and i see coolant under it. I start it up to watch, and i see it dripping slowly from the side of the oil cooler. So, I figure I will replace those 2 tiny hoses, cause it has to be them, right? So , a couple hours later, here i am back to square one. Same leak, only with 2 new hoses. Coolant dye into the system, but really cannot see anything because everything is so compact on the pulley side of the motor. So, Sunday, i figure it has to be the gasket on the water pump to the pipe that goes to the thermostat (not the oring side) it just looked like it could drip from there and down on the oil cooler. So a couple hours later that is replaced. Still the leak remains.

The water pump is 3 months old, so i figure it is not bad...............has anyone had the big oring behind it leak?

Frustrated in SC
