The "Syncro 16 /LT Mirrors" that we carry are convex - just not written on them that they are so. These are much bigger than the stock mirrors and won't get blown around by the next big rig that zips past you. Excellent for city driving and the mirror fold in for parking garages and off-roading, and then pop back in to place when you restore their original position.

To see what these mirrors are about go to http://www.fastforward.ca/vanagon/vanagon.htm#mirrors

Does anyone have "objects are closer than they appear" mirrors on their van? Were they stock? What year? If not, where did they come from?

(This reminds me of a Far Side comic where you see the usual Far Side character sitting in a car looking at his rear view mirror, with "objects are closer than they appear" on it, and all he can see is the refelction of one big bloodshot eye staring at him.)
