My KYB shocks in front lasted 5 years. When I removed them they were out of gas. No wonder the ride was so rough. Now have Bilstein all around. Great ride for an '82.

The shocks on my 90 have lasted over 180K miles. Is this unheard of--or common--in the Vanagon world?
