The key to success with CV joints is using a High Pressure grease. I stick with the grease supplied by list vendors for the purpose, because what they are selling is specific to the application....no guessing. Most of the HP greases are Molybdenum based and are specifically designed to stay put under pressure and heat. Check out Bentley for the specifics. I don't know who might have a chart of suitable substitutes. But whatever you select, be sure is it and HP grease, moly based.
