When I lived in the Western part of the state, in Eskimo country, I had
a good friend, a black man, who worked for the FAA. We were having
coffee together one day, whne he told me he was transferring up to the
Nome District, and then would spend some time in Pt. Barrow. I hated to
see him go. he was a really good fellow and friend.

Anyway, a year later, he was returned to the station back where I lived,
and we were again visiting. He told me the weirdest thing he ever
experienced was going along a street in Barrow, and having a drunk
Eskimo yell at him "Go back where you came from, Honky!!

You never know.
