I have been using the stock dual battery setup in my camper for the last four years without any issues. I purchased an isolator in anticipation of having problems when I swapped the stock starter type auxiliary battery to an Optima Yellow-top a couple of years ago but I haven't had any problems so far. The Optima still fully charges and provides enough capacity to run my RC-160E fridge for 6-7 hours without fully discharging.

Anyone want to buy an Isolator? :>)
