Remove the tank, regulator and feed line from your barbecue, then the end of the hose from your barbecue setup will connect to the propane input of the fridge. No electric service is needed for propane operation unless you want to test the cooling fan and its thermostat. I do this all the time when bench testing fridges in the workshop.
