Sheesh!!! Mark!!
Have you been there so long that the cold finally got in between your
ears and created permafrost in your brain????
Man, bust out of there!!!! Make that trip to Hawaii!!!!
I used to always fly south out of Alaska at or after Christmas. Spent
the month of January and first part of February Outside!! Or I might go
in mid-January and stay until the endo of February. That always seemed
to break the back of winter. When I got back it was just a short sprint
to Spring. The longer days in March, though cold, became quite tolerable
after that winter break. And April was nice, with the beginning arrival
of the ducks, geese and Sandhill cranes. I especially liked spending
some time out at Potters Marsh!!
Go to Hawaii, man!!

John Rodgers
