I installed the PRO 35 I have on mine: http://tinyurl.com/2t43e Although shorter than the 45 and I've never used it in rain, my plan in that senario has been to tilt the outward edge down considerably so no pooling would be possible. Also would cut down on effects of wind. Mine arrived in the box with broken hardware on one end and the importer in FLA. was very snappy to ship me new parts which were very easy for me to install. That senario does sound like an installation error?? I sure like the awning. It's a winner.
