I bought an Idle Air Valve from Ebay.  Here's the description:

VW JETTA/Golf/Gti IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE

Description
This valve is off a Volkswagen Jetta 1990 but will fit other years, models
in the late 80's and early 90's. It comes on the 8V eng of the
Golf/Jetta/Gti.

Probably should've asked the list first, but got caught up in the bidding.
Will it fit on my '87 Westy?
