Hey... I seem to remember reading somewhere on a engine rebuilder's site about them grinding out the sealing area on the cylinder heads.. and welding in a better grade of aluminum and then regrinding it flat... so as to get rid of the stupid pitting problem.. Anyone have any info on this? Or did i just dream this one night when i had read to much about engine rebuilds the night before! thanks all, jesse 89 carat |
