The holes in the Audi calliper carrier need to be enlarged and moved (in? - can't remember at this moment) so that they line up with the Syncro hub assumable. You need a 7mm spacer (nut shaved down) and an 12.9 hardness 60mm long bolts with a recessed 'Allen key' head that will fit into your newly machined calliper carriers. These 'studs' point inward. At this point you just use nuts to hold on the new calliper assembly. You will also need a custom length brake line as well.

Hopefully this makes sense - I have the flu / pneumonia and I really can't think too clearly for the past few days. :(

My only comment to this is why rear discs? You do only 30% of your braking with the rear brakes. A new set of shoes and new pistons will cost a heck of a lot less than a disc brake system. My experience with VW / Audi rear discs is that the ebrake system usually binds after a few years.

If I was going to spend money on a brake system I would install Audi 100/200 dual piston callipers and 276mm vented rotors up front. David Marshall
