There are 3rd party FM Transmitters for the iPod that essentially broadcast a low-powered FM signal from the iPod and you tune in to that station on your stereo. Works like the FM transmitters for add-on CD changers that have been around for years.

Quality, though isn't as good as a direct line in. But it would be cheap and easy.
