Subject: Resistor PN # 022 906 079
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Howdy All,

I've got this part (VW Part Number #022 906 079). I removed it from a Vanagon that didn't need it anymore. If I remember correctly it came from the engine compartment. I don't remember if it came from an air-cooled van or a 2.1 WBX. The Official VW Suggest Retail Price List book lists this part as a resistor.

The connector attached to it has 5 terminals. There seem to be 4 resistors. They are held in a sheet metal rectangular enclosure. I can supply a picture if anyone would like to see this part.

Now my question. What is its function, other than, of course, to resist? This part has been sitting on my desk for nearly a year now. Can I throw it away? Does anyone need one of these? I'd be willing to sell it (or possibly give it away) for a small fee.

Anyone know what this is? Anyone need one?

Cheers, Bruce
