Subject:      will early camper equipment fit into a late vanagon?

As the subject says, will the early (from say, an 83.5) cabinets and trim panels fit into a 90? I know that the sliding door panel and window will not fit, but am unsure about the rest. If things will fit, are there tabs/mounting points that are unique to the westy set-up (and would need to be welded to a standard van)? Anything difficult about adding the stock aux battery and propane tank/lines?
