Subject: Survey: Where is your paint code label?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed

VanVolks,

I want to add the location of the paint codes for various model/year combinations to the paint information on the vanagon site I'm building.

This is all the archives have to say about that: >>> 1982 westy In the auxiliary battery compartment under the driver's seat.

'86 Syncro Doublecab Pickup look under drivers seat..or under drivers dash.. It is supposed to be on the sticker on the left door post, just under the fusebox. This sticker is also found in the service book. Also found on a metal plate under the front seat, but I am not quite sure about this one. >>>

Where is YOUR paint code label??? Please include your model and year. Please reply to the list so the info is searchable in the archives also.

Thanks in Advance, John Meeks Vanagon Rescue Squad http://www.vanagonauts.com/?catid=74
