I just bought a set of 16" wheels from Drew Derek for my 89 2WD Westy and plan on using 225-60/16 tires from Yokohama with 779 or so revolutions per mile which is close to the stock 800 and some. I think it will be the same height as my existing 14" with 85 series tires so I can get it into my garage. Drew has a lot of information on this subject at http://users.rcn.com/derekdrew/vanagon/All_About_16-Wheels_And_The_CV_900.ht m

The fact is that I am not sure that the clearance is the same so I would like to ear it from a 2WD owner: does it worth it ? What tire recommendation ? > > Thanks > > Denis >
