I considered wallpaper and contact paper, but I ended up going an easier and cheaper way. I pulled the vinyl out, went to a paint store and bought a matching enamel house paint and simply painted mine. The adhesive from the vinyl leaves behind a basketweave pattern so with the paint, it looks pretty close to original. Looks great after 8 years, and it only took 1 afternoon and about $10. I also covered the side panels next to the bed with good quality indoor-outdoor carpet. Looks good, esy to maintain, and much warmer in the winter - no cold panels.

Good luck,

Scott Wetzel
