The brakes are detailed in a separate mail to the list.

The body kit is from a stock carat (mixed parts from various donors). The long side panel on the left was simply cut vertically at the cargo door of the doka and attached via the stock plastic attachments. The lock of the cargo door is now covered by the side panel and operated from the driverīs cabin via a power door lock actuator. The sliding door panel was connected with the part behind it to get one long panel as on the driverīs side, requiruing fiberglass work. The only other fiberglass work was done on the rear bumper to clear the engine hatch. The corners of the license plate area of the bumper wer cut out and "fiberglassed in" were the DoKa hatch corners are. I had to do it three times, since I am not a professional fiber worker. The corners cracked two times with only little pressure on them. All other carat panels (front bumper, door panels and the small part under the fuel tank opening) fit without modifications. I would say the work was not difficult. I only wouldnīt do the fibgerglass work again, I have friends who can do this better than me...

I think you have seen the photos on www.vwbus-online.de/feussner/mittelmotor.htm I have no actual photos yet, because the car gets new paint these weeks.

Raimund
