He has been running them for well over a year in his Syncro and has reported no problems with them.

Now I am hearing that one should not touch the holes in the calliper, well, the calliper is unchanged with this design, only the carrier. The M12 hole is made into an M14 and the center of the hold is slightly shifted - still round, not oblong. With the work done, the side wall of the original M12 hole is 'just' still present on the new M14 hole. The only additional working to the calliper is the recess for the Allen style fastener so there would be enough clearance for the disc.

Supposedly the shop that did the work for this fellow does a lot of race vehicles and they feel that there is more than enough meat there. If you look at RPI Equipped and other places with their Wilwood braking system they are using tiny T6 aluminium spacers for their setups. If the same material used for beer cans will stop a vehicle then the amount of cast iron here (which is more than the amount of aluminium in the Wilwood setup) should work just fine - right!?

So, at this point I have yet to do anything with my brake setup. Of course, I want to be safe about everything. What do you think of the design? How would you build an adapter seeing how the two studs are basically on top of each other?
