This has nothing to do with the front end...
I got rear-ended (by my wife in her NB--when she was rearended by a
16-year-old in granma's Buick). Bent the bumper and mounts, replaced them
easily with the $1000 in settlement.
But...the alternator went bad within a week, the overflow tank developed a
leak three days later, and the next month AVP was mailing us a motor--not
covered by insurance.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
