Subject: broken vanagon..whats it worth?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

86 weekender....body is in good shape....very small amount of seam rust clean interior....someone put a kitchenette behind the passenger seat, but its not hooked up

it seems like blown heads...they started leaking after an overheat=(

compression is all over the place but all above 100

one sparkplug was kinda crappy...burnt up like

if i cant find a used motor im thinking of selling it for a parts bus.....i cant afford a rebuild right now....and im not sure if heads are the only issue with the one plug looking like its got burnt oil on it

im inclined to think that if the compression is good, the rings are too...but im not qualified to make that assumption

i guess im looking to know what it could be worth, and what should i expect to pay for a used motor if i decide to fix it

thanks folks jeggers
