Subject: 94EV Westy near theft: Update and Question

In a previous post I mentioned how my '94 EV Westy was nearly stolen a few days ago. Over the weekend I surveyed the damage. Seems like the thief gave up or was disturbed before making it off. In this EV stering, ignition and gear shifter is locked by the key. The thief made it past the steering lock but not the two others.

I was able to jumpstart it, and other than the ignition lock cylinder everything seems fine. I'm hoping to replace the cylinder myself (and not go through the insurance -- Alberta rates are high enough even with no claim on the record...), but I can't figure out how to get the lock cylinder out. Anyone knows? Usually there is some way to release a pin or something holding it in, but I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks, Martin (82 and 94 Westys)
