Subject: Being irrresponsible: anyone have a diesel westy or gas multivan
              for sale?

In my ongoing quest to be irresponsible, I've convinced the SO that a westy would be a great compliment to the Carat, instead of the Jetta we currently have. It would allow me to re-do the heads myself instead of doing a conversion right now, giving me more free time to lavish her w/ attention and gifts (and will keep more non-running cars out of the driveway). How I accomplished this is beyond me, but I'm not looking back!

I am mostly interested in a diesel westy, or ultimately a gas multivan in decent shape. I've contacted a couple people on The Samba and will visit them soon, but thought I'd see if anyone on the list was thinning their stable. I'm in Virginia, but would be more than happy to drive along the eastern seaboard for a nice example.

thanks - hopefuly my wife won't realize her mistake until it's too late!!

john
