I've seen it quite often that these grounds go to the oil tower (black plastic cylinder thingy) which makes for a bad ground in the first place. the ground your looking for comes off the bunch of wires that goes to the hall sender. sometimes they are grounded to the case as well. if it is to the tower your best bet is to relocate it. the bunch of grounds your refering to are for a different purposes.
