It shows how to do this in the Bentley but basically after you get done unhooking everything you twist the regulator and cables until they becomes a straight line and then pull it out of the hole near the bottom of the panel. It is easy once you do it one time.

Any help on how to remove the internal works for a 90 Vanagon Carat power front window system would be greatly appreciated. I have pulled the door panel and released the window from the glide and removed the nuts and bolts that hold the system in, is there some sort of trick to pull the system out through the openings in the door frame? /Brett
