Ahoy mates,

Me AVP longblock arrived yesterday.  As for me and ole Billy Bones, well it's life or death on a lee shore.  Twas easy enough to pull his 'art out, gears and all!  Now I find myself more or less knee deep in what one might refer to as fecal matter!  I got parts stretched from stem to stern, some painted, some new, and I'm gettin' a bit fear'd of all of this.  Like as not, old Billy might be needin' some of what the preacher-man might call moral support.  And old Warren, bless his soul, he's not too bright a fellow - you all seed that right off!  So we don't care two coppers about all these here parts - if Billy ain't brought out of dry dock soon, it'll be to Davy Jones locker for ole Warren and his credit card.  So, not wishing to find hisself in a position to have to make a deal with ole Beezulbub, Warren'll be appealing to this here list for help.  He's got hisself a new longblock and new radiator and ever single water line made for what you lubbers calls a waterbox, and h
e's bound put all this back together or by the Powers he'll bring his house down around his ears a tryin'!

So old Warren begins with this here question:  if a man cleaned his throttle body, and backed out the idle adjustment screw all the way so as to clean it - what would be the proper initial setting for such a thing?  Turn it all the way down and back it off a quarter turn, or a full turn or what?

Much obliged.  (I'll be workin' on gettin' back to me Standard American English soon!  It almost seems like Friday or some other such festive day here with these new parts and all.  Kind of gets a feller exited!)
