Subject: westy wiring ques
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

hey all, okay i am getting the westy kitchenette wiring harness for my recently purchased westy interior. the PO is sending it but not the fuse box on pillar behind drivers seat. now, another list member told me that the isolator sold for a second battery is all i need in place of that. well, i looked at them both at gowesty and bus depot's websites. i do not understand how all this comes together, though since i have never seen one in person. does the wiring harness come together and plug into the isolator then to the wiring under the drivers seat box? the wiring under the drivers seat box has me confused as well, it is just a relay with a two prong connector coming off it. is something else missing here? can someone walk me through this whole wiring process and use plain terms to describe what is going on because i am a real idiot, but a quick learner, any pictures would be cool too.. also, i had to replace the green ground wire that comes from the circuit breaker by the water tank because. this green wire is 8 gauge but i could only find 10 gauge, will that work? i do not plan on running anything that could be a problem TIA jason
