From: Vanagon Mailing List On Behalf Of John Rodgers Truly horror stories!! A huge charge of the stuff went into the engine, through the intake manifold, past the intake valves into the engine, and in a few moments the engine seized so solidly and suddenly that the airplane made a little sidewise crowhop. It was as if someone had put a wrench inside the cylinder barrel between the piston and the cylinder head. Scratch one $12,000 engine!!!! Now that was a true horror story! ---------------------------- Clip ------------------------ You win this round John ......... Can you even picture a radial engine for $12,000.00 not likley in today's world. Probably more like 30K

Stan
