What would I have done in your situation? Well, since it was a TriStar, I
would have told the kids to get home as soon as they could find a ride
(can't let kids in the TriStar when they could have been contaminated with
ice cream), and I would have removed the bull bar right away. I would
chemically strip the bull bar to remove any trace of old powder coat or
chrome, and refinish it immediately. Then I would reinstall the bar and
park the pickup in my garage within a ring of velvet ropes. But then again,
I've always dreamed of owning a TriStar.
I treat my '79 Rabbit Diesel like that in preparation for my future TriStar.
Aw, shoot! It's not Friday anymore! In that case I'd just unload my
paintball gun on his Dodge as he drove off.
