Subject: Syncro Project Van now $1200
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
My customer with the '86 Syncro with blown head gaskets is lowering her
price. The main reason is because she cannot find the paperwork to
verify work done to the van in the past. The previous owner claimed to
have had the whole drivetrain replaced within the last 30k miles
(transmission, etc) but there are no receipts to back it up. Anyway I
have a picture of this van on my website in the classifieds section
<http://www.strictlyvwauctions.com/classifieds_1_3/index.php?method=showdetails&list=advertisement&rollid=13&fromfromlist=classifiedscategory&fromfrommethod=showhtmllist&fromfromid=11>
If you are interested please email or call me this week. Right now the
cost of the vehicle is right at or even below what most transmission
repair places would charge for a good core on the transmission alone.
Again this transmission works well and is supposed to be been rebuilt
within the past 30k miles. The interior and body are rough. If I were
buying this van it would be as either a major project or for parts. The
van has leaking head gaskets on both sides so it cannot be driven (must
be flat towed). It is located at my shop in Millville, NJ.
Thanks,
Ken Wilford
