Hi Warren, I just realized I linked to the wrong page for the factory procedure. Here it is: <http://www.obsolyte.com/vanagon/VanagonProTraining/DigiFant/036.jpg> Also make sure the engine is fully warmed up. Bentley states "The notch on the V-belt pulley must match separating line on crankcase." I believe it is the coolant temperature sensor (temp 2) that should be disconnected. I think on the Digijet (83.5 to 85) models you would disconnect the idle stabilizer as you mentioned. Ryan |
