Due to my front end complete overhaul I have the rotors off the spindles to get the lower ball joints out. The bearings feel good and I was going to repack them and reinstall. My question is with the peening nut. It says to not reuse it and I can see why for safety reasons. Having a front wheel fall off would kinda ruin my day. I called the dealer and they are not able to get them anymore. Is there any similar nut available at any of the major parts stores or am I going to have to buy a bearing kit mail order? Does anyone know the part number? PS: How do you get your hands on the parts CD for the Vanagons? Thanks, 87 Wolfsburg GL |
