Hello all,

It isnīt designed for speed, but can handle speed very well. I am driving my vanagon with 190km/h+ and I feel quite safe and comfortable. Besides, my european vanagon has ABS brakes! And the kids are more impressed by a Vanagon than anything else :-)

Over 150km/h I am more frightened in a little Golf or Polo/Fox or in a beefed up old beetle or on a motorcycle than in a vanagon.

Thatīs totally correct, though.

concerning safety: Frontal Collision Golf versus Vanagon? Iīll take the Vanagon without Airbag! Better than having the inline4 on my lap... Just my 02cents.
