Subject: 82 vanagon tdi?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hey all,

I have an 82 vanagon that was origionally a diesel, well someone threw a 1.8 golf engine in there and the old girl hasn't run for more then a month without problems since.

I'm not anxious to return to the origional under powered smelly loud diesel engine, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to drop a 1.9 TDI engine in there. Has anyone done this? Thought about or heard of this?

Jessup
