Come on lets not diss chevy's here even toyota makes a gas guzzling SUV, the Sequoyah. You might as well have said "If your that brain dead to by a Vanagon with Waterboxer, thats the only way your going to learn." After all a Vanagon waterboxer 2.1L gets worse mileage than a new full size Chevy van with V-6 or V-8 engine and twice the horsepower and displacement.
