It's a matter of "the demons you know vs the demons you don't".

I have a maroon 88 GL I wouldn't let go for gold nuggets. I've been through a lot with it. Had to rebuild the tranny not long after buying it. the the engine blew. The AC tunnel crashed, the brake master failed, the clutch master failed, had to replace all CV's, the AC compressor bracket broke, speedo quit. Speedo cable died. There was an awful lot that went wrong. The body and running gear were good, so I bit the bullet, and fixed it all. Now, as I said, I wouldn't let it go for gold.
