Subject:      Clutch Pedal Funk - Worn Pedal/Clevis Linkage

My clutch pedal has developed a very slight "bind" during the first inch
(freeplay portion) of travel.  Hard to explain, but it feels as if it snags
on something momentarily, then continues past w/ a slight clunk that I can
feel through the pedal - horribly annoying.

It's definitely occurring at the clutch pedal, not the linkage.

It's difficult to see anything under there, but from what I've gathered by
brail, it feels as if the clutch m/c clevis & pin are the culprit.  I can
feel that linkage "shift" when I press the pedal.  I'm guessing it's worn
and there is excessive wiggle/freeplay there that's causing it to snag.

So, has anyone had this problem, and if so what it the repair?  Should I
just replace the clevis/pin?  List vendors don't appear to sell the parts,
is it a dealer item?

And, AFAIK, I need to pull the dash to reach the pedal assembly, yeah?  It
may be possible from the bottom w/ mirrors and monkey arms... But I think
I'd go nuts.

Anything else I should replace/rebuild while I'm at it?
