Took a ride today in a friend's brand new Jeep Liberty,... NYC
area to Atlantic City. Nice comfy vehicle, all the amenities. He showed off
the cool electronic features, like the running MPG display...
We got 20.1 MPG for the trip. Talk about guzzlers! I get better
mileage out of my '85 westie with it's decades-old engine technology, even
though it's *way* heavier and less aerodynamic than this little Jeep.
One more reason to like my old Westie better than a new vehicle.
