Fist pull the plug on the bad cyl. check the color to see if it tis rich or lean ( could be bad plug ? ) // with the plug out run your compression test totally cold ~ then RUN till totaly hot ~ rerun compession test // see if there is any compression variance ?? // bad injector ?? ~ then swap injectors 1 to 2 cyl. // 2 to 1 cyl. // also once hot 1 or both of the lifters may be failing , not being able to open the valves // Possible 1 teminal in the distributor is miss firing under hot conditions ( halls unit ) you may need a rebuilt dist. You also mentioned new plug wires.Did you use Bosch Wires or did you use chain store junk store lifetime Junk ???? Bosch fails at appox 3 % ,chainstore wires fail at 85 % . Get back to me with the test imfo
