you oil usage is still okay but not great. some "experts" say anything less then 1qt every 1000 miles is in line, but that seems too much to me. mine uses 1/4qt every 2000 miles, which in my opinion is okay. i monitor it closely. do you have leaks that you can see or is it burning oil? try switching to 20/50 if you haven't already. and use mobil 1 or castrol syntec. these are thicker viscosity which is the best oil for our vans, even in cold weather. jason
