Subject: For Canadians road tripping down I-95 this year...

Saved this for a Friday since is has limited Vanagon content and forgot to mention this before Ben headed south on his vacation -- Ben, if you get this, sorry.

Virginia has a program called LoonieSavers that offers discount coupons to Canadians visiting the state throughout the year. Discounts are on places to stay (hotels, mostly) golf, food and sometimes attractions. Some are buy one get one free, while others are 50% off. The program was put in place several years ago because of the dramatic difference beterrn US and CA currencies.

Anyway, the coupons are free. You can view and download them in English and French by visiting www.LoonieSavers.com and can request a printed coupon book there as well.

john (vested interest alert: I work for the agency which handles the design/production of this program)
